the pics on this page are of the 4.5" completed scope
well almost done.all that is left
to do is to balance the asembly at this point it seems to be extremly top
heavy and the finder has to be added as of yet.I guess maybe the side bearings
could have been moved
up and forward a little bit to
help take some of the top heaviness out of it but this is one of the mistakes
I made.That I discovered very quickly but I think I can deal with it.I
was wrong I can't deal with this.This is just to top heavy....
This is my cureThese

I wraped the out side with .62
alum. strips for the teflon to ride on. They move very easy without
any stickyness.
My
wife does'nt like this pic it does look a little satanic but it is the
two side bearings facing each other.
The
scope looks much bigger in the pics than it really is the actual
height is about 41" tall.
Heres the new design this is great
the scope stay put no matter
where I place it no drifting at
all.
I learned a good lesson here in
ATMing if does'nt work out the first time
you just have to keep at it till
it does.
